We are seeking a motivated and qualified Mechanical Technician to join our growing maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality work prioritises safety and enjoys working across a diverse range of mechanical assets.

As a Mechanical Technician you will be responsible for:

• Preventative and corrective maintenance
• Mechanical breakdown repairs
• Fault finding and troubleshooting
• Installation overhaul and commissioning of mechanical equipment
• Pump valve gearbox and rotating equipment maintenance
• Reading technical drawings and maintenance documentation
• Completing work orders and maintenance records
• Working safely in accordance with company procedures and industry standards

To be successful you will have:

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting Fitter & Turner Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Current Australian Trade Certificate
• Demonstrated experience in industrial maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
• Commitment to workplace health and safety

• Experience within water wastewater manufacturing or heavy industry
• Confined Space and Working at Heights
• EWP Forklift or Dogging licences
• Experience using CMMS systems such as Maximo
• First Aid certification
