About the Role
As a Mechanical Technician you will be responsible for:
Preventative and corrective maintenance
Mechanical breakdown repairs
Fault finding and troubleshooting
Installation overhaul and commissioning of mechanical equipment
Pump valve gearbox and rotating equipment maintenance
Reading technical drawings and maintenance documentation
Completing work orders and maintenance records
Working safely in accordance with company procedures and industry standards
About You
To be successful you will have:
Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting Fitter & Turner Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Current Australian Trade Certificate
Demonstrated experience in industrial maintenance
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
Current Australian Drivers Licence
Commitment to workplace health and safety
Desirable
Experience within water wastewater manufacturing or heavy industry
Confined Space and Working at Heights
EWP Forklift or Dogging licences
Experience using CMMS systems such as Maximo
First Aid certification
