We are seeking a motivated and qualified Mechanical Technician to join our growing maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality work prioritises safety and enjoys working across a diverse range of mechanical assets.

As a Mechanical Technician you will be responsible for:
- Preventative and corrective maintenance
- Mechanical breakdown repairs
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Installation overhaul and commissioning of mechanical equipment
- Pump valve gearbox and rotating equipment maintenance
- Reading technical drawings and maintenance documentation
- Completing work orders and maintenance records
- Working safely in accordance with company procedures and industry standards
To be successful you will have:
- Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting Fitter & Turner Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Current Australian Trade Certificate
- Demonstrated experience in industrial maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Experience within water wastewater manufacturing or heavy industry
- Confined Space and Working at Heights
- EWP Forklift or Dogging licences
- Experience using CMMS systems such as Maximo
- First Aid certification
