About the role
The Asset Policy & Analysis Lead is responsible for the development implementation and continuous improvement of asset management policy frameworks and analytical capability across TAFE NSW.

The role ensures that asset-related decision-making is evidence-based aligned with organisational strategy and compliant with NSW Government policy requirements.

A key focus of this temporary role is to lead TAFE NSWs response to the NSW Infrastructure Digitalisation and Data (IDD) Policy including development of required strategies frameworks and organisational capability to support compliance and uplift asset data practices.

About You
You are a structured and outcome-focused professional with the ability to translate policy requirements into practical approaches that can be implemented across a large organisation.

You are comfortable working across policy data and operational environments and can interpret complex requirements identify implications and develop solutions that are clear consistent and fit for purpose. You maintain a logical and methodical approach to your work particularly when dealing with ambiguity or competing priorities.

You have strong communication and analytical skills to interpret information provide well-reasoned advice and engage effectively with stakeholders to support alignment and delivery. You are able to work both independently and collaboratively and you take responsibility for progressing work through to completion.

You bring a strong focus on quality consistency and continuous improvement with attention to detail and an understanding of how governance data and decision-making interact across the asset lifecycle.

To be successful in this role you must meet all essential requirements including:

  • Degree qualification in related field or equivalent skills knowledge and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing asset management policy strategies and governance approaches then translating these into clear and implementable processes or frameworks
  • Significant experience leading and implementing asset management policy and process improvements across a large organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage productive stakeholder relationships to collaborate on and achieve policy approach and implementation objectives.
