Asset Inspector/Forklift Operator

Location:Milperra

Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Day Shift::Mon - Friday 8am temp to perm

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Booking in a range of assets by taking photos entering descriptions and details onto our user-friendly auction system
• Assist other team members with their duties when required
• Locate move (sometimes using a forklift) and record the movements of all assets
• Conduct daily prestart forklift checks weekly detail and maintenance checks and complete forklift logbooks to ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner
• Load/unload trucks of assets efficiently to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.
• Assist with the preparation of the weekly auction
• Maintain a safe work environmentand following all WHS policies and procedures

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following skills and experience:

• Current valid manual drivers licence (essential)
• Current valid forklift licence (essential)
• Sound ability to use an iPad
• A strong commitment to safety
• Good attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A team player with a proactive and self-starting attitude
