At Ravenhall Correctional Centre you will work in a state-of-the-art facility with dedicated units for forensic mental health complex behaviours and first-time prisoners. Our unique Continuum of Care model extends into the community ensuring ongoing support through GEOs Community Reintegration Centre.

Why This Role Matters

As an Assessment & Reintegration Specialist youll be at the heart of rehabilitation conducting assessments building case plans and connecting individuals with the services they need to succeed post-release. Your work directly impacts reintegration outcomes helping reduce re-offending and creating stronger communities.

What You Will Do
  • Undertake comprehensive assessment to inform case planning and referrals.
  • Facilitate information sessions on parole health and community reintegration.
  • Provide practical support with housing identification Centrelink and other services.
  • Collaborate with custodial staff Alliance Partners and Community Correctional Services.
  • Advocate cultural awareness by working closely with Aboriginal Programs and diverse communities.
Is This You Your Essential Skills for Success
  • Tertiary qualification in Social Work Psychology Criminology Welfare or related Human Services qualification and/or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of offender management reintegration and institutional adjustment issues.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a non-judgemental empathetic approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment and manage complex caseloads.
  • Experience with assessment tools data analysis and case formulation is highly valued.
