St Hildas School is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Aquatics Coordinator to join our Aquatics Centre team. This is a wonderful opportunity for a customer-focused professional with a passion for aquatics and community engagement to support the delivery of our swimming programs.
The Aquatics Coordinator will be the first point of contact for students families and community users of the Aquatics Centre providing administrative program and customer service support that ensures the smooth day-to-day operation of the Centre while contributing to the continued growth of our aquatic programs.

About the Position
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Deliver a high standard of customer service to students parents staff and community users.
- Administer enrolments class bookings transfers waiting lists and attendance records.
- Provide administrative and on-deck support for Squads Learn to Swim holiday programs and aquatic events.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of program communications forms and notices promotional materials and social media content.
- Support billing receipting and reconciliation processes in line with School policies.
- Promote a safe and welcoming environment in accordance with School policies and child safety requirements.
About You
- You have demonstrated experience in an administrative customer service or coordination role ideally within an aquatics sport recreation or education setting along with strong organisational skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
- You are friendly approachable and service-oriented with a genuine commitment to providing positive experiences for students families and the broader community. You bring well-developed organisational skills and a keen eye for detail allowing you to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently and with accuracy.
- You communicate confidently and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and you bring a proactive adaptable approach to your work with a willingness to assist wherever needed. As a collaborative team member you contribute positively to the Aquatics Centre and the broader School community while upholding high standards of professionalism integrity confidentiality and accountability.
- You have a genuine interest in aquatics and sport and a genuine passion for supporting student participation and wellbeing.
- You have a Certificate Diploma or relevant experience in administration customer service sport recreation or a related field a Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card) or eligibility to obtain prior to appointment current First Aid and CPR Certification or willingness to obtain (HLTAID009 and HLTAID011) and AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualification or equivalent.
