Job Summary
Exciting Coaching Opportunity for our First Girls Team. Start date Monday 7 September 2026.
Lead coach of program including support and assistance for the staff member in charge in the delivery of the Carey Co-Curricular Summer Sports Program in 2026/2027.
- Lead and assist our coaches with drills warm-ups and practice matches. Bring your energy and love for Badminton to inspire our players!
- Set up equipment support with logistics and ensure everything runs smoothly on match days.
- Participate in the Carey community promoting sport and encouraging new players to join.
- Weekly training sessions 3.00pm - 5.00pm on Tuesday Wednesday and/or Thursday during term time.
- Saturday matches 8.00am - 12.00pm during term time.
The Person:
To be successful in this position you will have:
- A love for the sport and a good understanding of the game.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with student athletes (at a high level) coaches parents and volunteers.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a coaching team with Carey staff.
- A positive attitude strong initiative and a can-do approach to every task.
- Willingness to work on weekends as required.
