Apprentice Carpenter

YMH is a leading builder of modular dwellings and commercialbuildings servicing the Lifestyle Tourism and Commercial sectors. Withfacilities in both Mulwala NSW and Bendigo VIC. All our modular buildings aredesigned and built to the very highest standards with a true focus on quality.

We are seeking a 1st Year Apprentice Carpenter to join ourteam. This position will be based in Huntly VIC. You will need to be available to liveaway from home as required as part of our onsite team in various locationsthroughout VIC and further interstate on occasion. You will need to be aconfident detail-oriented individual ready to thrive in a busy setting andhave a solution driven mindset.

Qualifications:

• Construction Induction Card (White card or able to attain)
• Current Drivers Licence (Or able to attain once 18 if underage)

Skills required:

• Physically fit and able to perform the physical requirements of the role.
• The ability to travel & stay overnight as required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent numeracy skills.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.
• A positive and solution driven mindset.
• Strong work ethic and the willingness to help others and work within a team.
• Personal pride in the quality of your work and strong attention to detail.
• Be friendly supportive and have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Follow safety protocols while working on construction sites.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Take and follow directions from qualified carpenters and all management.
