About the RoleAs an Apprentice Automotive Mechanic you will assist with a range of workshop duties while working towards a nationally recognised qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with vehicle servicing and repairs
- Cleaning and maintaining the workshop
- Picking up automotive parts and supplies
- Dropping customers home when required
- Supporting qualified technicians with day-to-day workshop tasks
- Learning safe and efficient automotive repair practices
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Completion of a pre-apprenticeship in Automotive (preferred)
- A valid manual drivers licence
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- A willingness to learn and take direction
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Non smoker preferred
- Residence within reasonable travelling distance of Cannington
- A supportive and friendly team environment
- Hands-on training and mentoring from experienced technicians
- The opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification
