Apprentice Automotive Electrician

Qualification: AUR30320 Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology

Ulti-Mech is seeking a motivated Apprentice Automotive Electrician to join our Newman workshop.

Working alongside experienced tradespeople you will develop skills across automotive electrical systems while completing a nationally recognised qualification.

You will assist qualified technicians with:

• Electrical fault diagnosis and repairs
• Wiring and electrical installations
• Battery charging and starting systems
• Lighting and accessory installation
• Vehicle servicing and inspections
• Using diagnostic equipment and workshop tools
• Maintaining workplace safety standards
• Completing apprenticeship training requirements

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a genuine interest in automotive electrical technology
• Be reliable and punctual
• Be mechanically and technically minded
• Be eager to learn and develop new skills
• Follow instructions and safety procedures
• Work well in a team environment

School leavers mature-age applicants and career changers are encouraged to apply.

• Drivers licence preferred
• Pre-apprenticeship advantageous
• Previous automotive or mechanical exposure advantageous but not essential

• Full-time apprenticeship
• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology (AUR30320)
• Exposure to a variety of automotive and heavy vehicle electrical systems
