Job Summary

Your opportunity

As an Application Support Engineer at Scentre Group you will play a key role in supporting maintaining and enhancing enterprise applications that power critical business operations.

This position focuses on delivering Level 2 application support proactively monitoring system performance and contributing to the ongoing stability reliability and continuous improvement of enterprise platforms.

Working across both operational support and delivery initiatives you will help ensure applications remain available secure and fit for purpose while supporting business continuity and delivering a seamless user experience.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

  • Provide Level 2 support resolving incidents service requests and application issues across enterprise systems
  • Monitor application performance and system health to proactively identify risks and improvement opportunities
  • Support application operations including maintenance releases deployments and critical business processing
  • Collaborate with engineering product and business teams to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain documentation support access and security administration and contribute to testing and service management practices

This role is a fixed term contract role for 12 months.

You will be a strong stakeholder manager with a customer focus who thrives in fast-paced environments and communicates effectively across technical and business teams.

  • Experience supporting and maintaining enterprise applications across production and operational environments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across application system and integration issues using structured problem-solving approaches
  • Working knowledge of SQL scripting and application support tools to investigate and resolve issues
  • Experience supporting deployments upgrades and operational release activities
  • Understanding of application lifecycle and service management with exposure to enterprise platforms such as JD Edwards PeopleSoft TM1 or DataOps environments
