Were looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Application Support Analyst (Student Intern) to join our team in Broadmeadows this role you will provide technical support to end-users troubleshoot application issues and contribute to the smooth operation of our IT support function. What youll be doing:
Respond to user support requests via ticketing systems and provide timely technical assistance
Troubleshoot application issues and identify root causes using analytical and systematic approaches
Document support interactions resolutions and technical issues in a clear and organized manner
Assist in testing and deploying application updates and patches
Collaborate with senior support staff to resolve complex technical problems
Maintain organized records of support tickets and follow up with users to ensure issue resolution
Provide user training and guidance on application features and best practices
Escalate critical issues to senior technical staff when necessary
Support the onboarding process for new users and assist with system access provisioning
Contribute to the development of support documentation and knowledge base articles
The skills and experience youll bring to the role:
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in time management and organizational skills
Basic understanding of IT systems and applications
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Currently enrolled as a student or recent graduate
Preferred Skills:
Experience with help desk ticketing systems
Familiarity with common business applications (Microsoft Office enterprise software)
Previous customer service or technical support experience
Knowledge of basic networking concepts
Experience with documentation and knowledge management tools
Ability to customize and troubleshoot software applications
Entry-level technical support experience is a plus but not required
