About the role
The Customer & Digital Services (C&DS) Division is responsible for leading stakeholder and customer engagement and communications for the Digital Department. The division delivers Service Desk support to both internal and external customers including end-user IT support and oversees the delivery of key IT Service Management capabilities. These include Incident Problem and Change Management as well as Capacity Availability Continuity Knowledge Management Service Design Service Level and Catalogue Management and Software and Hardware Asset Management.
The Analyst Service Transition plays a key supporting role within the Service Transition function working closely with the Manager Digital Service Transition and Specialist Service Transition across a range of workstreams.
This role contributes to the day-to-day delivery of service transition activities including (but not limited to) change and release management operational readiness and asset and configuration management. It supports the continuous improvement of processes to ensure they are consistently applied meet quality standards and evolve to align with organisational needs and best practice.
This is a 20-month fixed-term contract with flexible location options available across all states.
What you will be doing
- Support the Specialist Service Transition across all aspects of the Change Management function including facilitating appropriate change reviews and approvals to ensure changes meet quality standards prior to submission. This includes coordinating and managing Change Advisory Board (CAB) agendas meetings and minutes.
- Provide support with the Release Management function including but not limited to the coordination of release activities across multiple delivery teams and the subsequent identification of conflicts and associated resolutions.
- Partner with the Specialist Service Transition to define operational readiness and service acceptance criteria with delivery teams on behalf of operational stakeholders ensuring outcomes are documented communicated and any non-compliance is identified and reported as require.
- Engage with internal stakeholders via participation in various delivery forums to promote awareness and compliance with service transition processes and quality expectations.
- Assist to measure and monitor adherence to process standards and ensure consistent execution of the process across the organisation via KPIs reporting and data driven insights.
What you will bring to the role
- Australian Citizenship required with willingness to obtain and maintain a security clearance if needed.
- Tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant technology discipline with ITIL 4 certification preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in IT Service Transition practices with exposure to project support environments advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities make sound decisions in ambiguous situations and perform effectively under pressure.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels complemented by excellent written and verbal communication skills.
