How will you make an impact

Support the delivery of the Funds risk and financial crime programs helping protect members retirement outcomes and maintain the trust and security they expect from Hostplus.

The opportunity

This is an opportunity to build valuable financial crime experience within one of Australias leading industry super funds. Reporting to the Senior Manager Financial Crime youll play an important role in supporting the Funds financial crime framework while gaining exposure to anti-money laundering counter-terrorism financing and broader risk activities.

Success in this role means quickly building your knowledge of financial crime obligations contributing to high-quality operational outcomes and becoming a trusted member of a high-performing team.

This contract role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a complex highly regulated environment while working alongside experienced risk professionals who are invested in your development.

As an Analyst Financial Crime you will:

  • Support day-to-day financial crime operations and controls across the Fund
  • Assist with monitoring investigations and the review of financial crime-related alerts and activities
  • Contribute to AML/CTF compliance activities reporting and documentation
  • Help maintain accurate records data analysis and management information reporting
  • Support risk assessments audits and regulatory requirements as needed
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to strengthen financial crime awareness and compliance outcomes

What you bring:

  • 12 years experience in financial crime risk compliance banking superannuation or financial services
  • A genuine interest in financial crime risk AML/CTF and regulatory compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large volumes of information accurately
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with a range of stakeholders
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn from experienced professionals
