Job Summary
Known internally as Workforce Capability Specialist Were looking for an experienced Allied health professional in Occupational Therapy or any other Allied Health background to join our team on a12-month fixed-term contract.

In this role youll combine your clinical expertise of allied health with practical workplace solutions partnering with leaders health professionals employees families and support networks to ensure employment decisions promote safety dignity wellbeing and inclusion.
A key component of this role is designing and implementing sustainable frameworks procedures and governance processes that support consistent decision-making ongoing health monitoring and best practice workforce capability management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional capacity and workplace assessments to determine role suitability. Work travel may be required to visit the sites.
- Assess clinical functional and workplace information to provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Recommend practical workplace adjustments that support employee capability while meeting operational requirements.
- Identify and manage workplace risks while balancing employee choice dignity and wellbeing.
- Collaborate with health practitioners leaders employees families and support networks to achieve positive employment outcomes.
About You
You are an experienced allied health or workplace rehabilitation professional who enjoys solving complex workplace challenges influencing positive outcomes and building sustainable systems and processes.
Youll bring:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy Allied Health Work Health and Safety or a related discipline.
- Current professional registration where applicable (for example AHPRA registration for Occupational Therapists).
- At least four years experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience within the disability and/or aged care sector.
- Experience in injury management workplace rehabilitation or return-to-work coordination.
- Demonstrated experience conducting functional capacity and workplace assessments.
- Experience designing implementing and embedding organisational frameworks procedures and governance processes.
- Strong judgement discretion and a practical solutions-focused approach.
