Airside Stores Officer
Job Summary
The Airside Stores Officer is the operational interface between Aerotech Aviations stores supply-chain and inventory function and the maintenance line. The role is responsible for the receipt putaway storage issue return and tracking of aeronautical and non-aeronautical parts components consumables tooling and ground support equipment used by Certifying Engineers AMEs and Trades Assistants on customer aircraft.

- Safety Quality and Human Factors
- Coordinate and manage all warehousing activities including inventory control storage shipping and receiving.
- Develop and implement logistics plans including routing transportation and delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with suppliers carriers and other stakeholders to optimize the supply chain process.
- Analyse and report on performance metrics identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Create a positive work environmentensuring team members complete work tasks and ensuring compliance.
Storeperson Level 1 Selection Criteria
- Eligibility for Storeperson Level 1 with capacity to undertake structured training across all supply and associated functions.
- Ability to read write and speak English to a standard sufficient for the safe execution of stores work and accurate documentation.
- Sound work ethic reliability and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to perform manual handling and physical work safely across airside hangar and hardstand environments.
- Current right to work in Australia.
- Valid open unrestricted Australian drivers licence.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Red ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card) for airside access.
- Working knowledge of NT WorkSafe and Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements applicable to hangar hardstand and airside operations.
Warehouse & Logistics Selection Criteria
- Minimum three years of experience in warehousing and logistics management.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organisational communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proven problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Current forklift licence or ability to obtain one.
