Civmec is seeking an experienced HSE Advisors to join the BHP Bucket Wheel Reclaimer 7 (BWR7) Upgrade Project in Port Hedland.

This critical upgrade forms part of BHPs Project and will increase BWR7 capacity to14500tph while extending the machines operational life through to 2044. The project includes significant electrical infrastructure upgrades including HV/LV cabling switchroom upgrades software upgrades and functional safety improvements.

The Role
  • Support safe execution of critical upgrade activities.
  • Monitor compliance with site safety and environmental standards.
  • Conduct inspections audits and risk management activities.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture across all project teams.
About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • Certificate IV in OHS or equivalent
  • BHP experience desireable
  • Previous construction site experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Provide and accept feedback in relation to role requirements duties and results
  • Engage confidently and openly with team members colleagues and clients
