Our Maintenance Team in Central Queensland is expanding. We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our team. This position presents a great opportunity to progress in your career whilst playing a key role in our operational support team. The Role
- Oversee and manage HSE aspects across shutdown works
- Support risk identification and ensure activities are reduced to ALARP (As Low as Reasonably Practicable)
- Lead incident investigations and communicate findings to project teams
- Develop implement and coordinate HSE standards programs and procedures
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and Civmecs Corporate Compliance Matrix
- Monitor and apply regulatory updates to project systems
- Assist in hazard investigations and ensure corrective actions address root causes
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Cert IV in WHS
- ICAM or Taproot certification (Preferred)
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar HSE role
- Experience using HSE management databases
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across diverse stakeholder groups
- Proven incident investigation capability (ICAM Taproot)
