About the role
The Teacher Attraction Initiatives team are currently seeking an Advisor Early Career Academy to help shape the next generation of teachers.
Youll be joining a team that plays a vital role in one of the departments key initiatives that aims at attracting and retaining high-quality teachers. The role combines event and campaign delivery stakeholder engagement and data-driven evaluation to strengthen workforce attraction outcomes.

About you
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work effectively in a busy environment adapting to changing priorities.
- Detail oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Support the development of professional learning materials for early-career teachers under guidance. An understanding of the education landscape to ensure you can design attend and deliver events campaigns and programs that promote teaching as a career of choice
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and educational specialists to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while protecting the departments reputation and ensuring aligned delivery.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in learning about new trends technologies and resources to provide tailored support and advice to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the DepartmentsAboriginal Education Policyand upholding theDepartments Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECGand to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Willingness and ability to undertake regular interstate and intrastate travel to meet delivery requirements of programs.
- Hold a valid drivers licence (provisional or above).
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to thevalue of public education.
