Purpose of the Role

BGIS is seeking an experienced Administrator to support a large social housing maintenance and compliance contract across New South Wales. Reporting directly to the Risk Manager you will work collaboratively with operational teams subcontractors and internal stakeholders to support compliance activities manage critical documentation maintain registers and ensure information is processed accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities are constantly moving. You will enjoy structured administration be confident managing confidential information and take pride in keeping processes registers and reporting up to date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor compliance portals team inboxes and systems for new notifications requests and compliance communications.
  • Maintain compliance registers databases and reporting trackers to support contractual obligations.
  • Allocate requests and communications to the appropriate internal teams and subcontractors for action.
  • Coordinate Business Improvement Form (BIF) and Agreed Training Initiative (ATI) workflows and reporting.
  • Assist the Compliance Team with audit reviews and supporting documentation.
  • Analyse compliance information and identify trends relating to maintenance activities and contractor performance.
  • Prepare weekly and ad hoc reports to support compliance outcomes and stakeholder requirements.
  • Support the accurate recording reconciliation and management of compliance-related information.
  • Assist with administrative tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the wider compliance function.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Education Experience & Skills

Essential:

  • Previous administration experience within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel Word Outlook and data entry systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience preparing reports maintaining records and managing documentation.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and timelines in a high-volume administrative setting.

Desirable:

  • Experience within housing maintenance facilities management construction or service delivery environments.
  • Knowledge of compliance processes audits registers or contractor management activities.
  • Experience undertaking data analysis and reporting.
  • Administration or data entry qualifications.
  • Understanding of building maintenance or construction terminology.

Workplace Flexibility

This role is based from our Sydney World Square office conveniently located in the CBD close to public transport and with end-of-trip facilities available.

Standard business hours apply Monday to Friday however occasional ad hoc evening or weekend work may be required to support operational requirements.
