Administration Support Officer - Stores

Location:Ravenhall

Undertake a range of administrative duties and provide assistance within the Stores facility.

Hands-on training and development opportunities.

Part-time opportunity - Thursday and Friday only. $65000 to $69000 per annum (pro rata) plus Superannuation (salary based on experience)

About The Opportunity

As the Administration Support Officer - Stores you will provide administrative and warehousing assistance to the Procurement Coordinator from the external stores warehouse.

Your Key Impact Areas

  • Collate daily orders submitted via the External Stores Requisition process
  • Pick/packand deliverorders for communities and other areas within the centre
  • Receive and process inbound goods
  • Assist the Procurement Coordinator in raising purchase orders using an electronic system placing purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Monitor stock allocation to areas and keep inventory level updated in the electronic system.
  • Assist in reconciling delivery dockets/invoices against purchase orders before submitting to finance for payment.
  • Conduct regular stock counts reconciling discrepancies and maintain up to date inventory management system
  • Maintain associated records in the stores area.
  • Contribute to a safe workplace by adhering to WHS policy and maintaining good worksite housekeeping
  • You may be required to attend to other duties as directed by the Finance and Administration Manager.

About You

Essential:

  • Demonstrated understanding of office procedures and experience with a variety of computer applications including spreadsheets word processing and keyboard skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills presentation and a flexible approach to work.
  • Proven written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to perform switchboard operator and reception duties.

Desirable:

  • Warehousing and/or retail experience
