The Position:
The Administration Officer isresponsible for supporting the administration of the AASW Migration andEligibility Assessment (MEA) program. The MEA program is responsible for theassessment of social work qualifications for migration and employment purposesgained in Australia and overseas. The MEA program also assesses post qualifyingemployment for migration purposes.

Your key responsibilities:
- Undertake verification of identification supplied and follow up withadditional information requirements.
- Ensure acknowledgement of receipt of MEA applications conduct check ofcontents fee payment and allocation of file reference numbers/types submittedonline.
- Complete pre-assessment review for all applications.
- Liaise with applicants regarding further documentation required.
- Dispatch of completed Assessment notices for specific application types.
- Respond to and provide information about the AASW MEA assessmentcriteria and guidelines to those inquiring about the assessment of overseassocial work qualifications.
- Process applications from international graduates following completionof an AASW accredited social work program and process applications for MutualRecognition Agreement (MRA) and prepare outcome letters for both types ofapplications.
- Within defined guidelines provide feedback to membership officerregarding the eligibility of overseas qualified applicants.
- Meet with MEA Team Leader on a regular basis to address system issueswith MRA assessments international graduate assessments; management ofcommunication e-mail correspondence.
Key selection criteria:
- A minimum of four years (administrative) support skills or similar
- Highly experienced in the use of Microsoft Office applicationsparticularly Word PowerPoint Excel Teams Sharepoint and Salesforce CRM
- Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision and as part of asmall team
- Highly developed organisational skills including experience inmaintaining information databases and online filing systems
- Experienced in drafting formal correspondence according to systems andprocesses
- Ability to work well under pressure and to respond flexibly to changingcircumstances
- Excellent time management skills
- Demonstrated experience with continual quality improvement frameworksand implementation
- Ability to ensure privacy and confidentiality over information providedas appropriate
- Excellent organisational and planning skills communication skills bothwritten and verbal
- Ability to rapidly acquire new skills and/or willingness to undertakefurther training if required
Desirable requirements:
- Relevant qualification e.g. business administration informationtechnology or related discipline
- Understanding of role of a professional association and/or peak body
- Experience working in a cloud based filing environment(SharePoint/OneDrive)
