About the Role:
Our new 130 bed Griffith Centre in Canberra is conveniently located near the CBD Lake Burley Griffin shopping precincts and local parks. This energy efficient and environmentally sustainable building has been designed to ensure we can meet the care needs of the local community now and into the future.
BaptistCare Griffith is an innovative and modern looking facility built to cater for people with low care high care and dementia care needs. All our rooms feature ensuites the facility also offers extra services
As an Admin Officer/Coordinator youll be part of a team empowering and supporting one another to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we serve. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative functions for aged care services.
We offer a competitive salary based on your previous experience from$26.51 - $34.41/hr superannuation penalties salary packaging.
Duties may include:
- Client Administration
- Hosting tours of the facility
- Sales aspects for the facility
- General administrative duties as requested
About You:
- A team player attitude and enjoy interacting with elderly people
- Proven experience in office administration/clerical position and outstanding organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competent computer skills in MS Word Excel and Outlook
- Great customer service with ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision
