Girton Grammar School is seeking a highly organised and proactive professional to join our team as the Activities Camps and Excursions (ACE) Compliance Co-ordinator.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting the safe compliant and effective delivery of the Schools camps excursions and co-curricular programs across both Junior and Senior School.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Business the ACE Compliance Co-ordinator is responsible for the coordination risk management and compliance of all school activities camps excursions and off-campus events.
The role ensures that all programs align with legislative requirements duty of care obligations and child safety standards while supporting staff to deliver high-quality co-curricular experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee the planning and delivery of activities camps and excursions
Ensure all compliance risk assessments and approval processes are completed and maintained
Support staff with risk management documentation and operational processes
Manage logistical arrangements including transport venues and service providers
Maintain accurate records systems and program documentation
Provide expert advice on compliance duty of care and child safety requirements
Support financial coordination including budgets invoicing and cost recovery
Develop and maintain ACE and excursions calendars
About You
You will bring:
Experience coordinating activities excursions or educational programs
Strong understanding of risk management compliance and duty of care in an educational setting
Excellent organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
Sound ICT skills for scheduling record keeping and systems management
A genuine commitment to student wellbeing and child safety
