About the Role
TheAccounts Receivable Officeris responsible formanaging the endtoend Accounts Receivable (AR) function to ensureaccuratebillingtimelycollections and strong customer account management. Working within a lean Finance team this role will not only own core AR activities but also support broader finance operations as needed. Success in this role requires attention to detail excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
What Youll Do
Prepare issue and reconcile customer invoices and credit notes in line with company policies.
Monitor customer accounts to ensuretimelycollection of outstanding balances.
Conduct regular account reconciliations follow up on overdue invoices and resolve discrepancies.
MaintainaccurateAR records ageing schedules and customer master data.
Process andallocatecustomer payments ensuring accuracy across all systems.
Act as the primary point of contact for ARrelated customer inquiries.
Completebank reconciliation for all AccountsReceivable related transactions.
Supportmonthend close activities including AR reporting reconciliations and audit support.
Supporting AP tasks such as invoice entry payment runs and vendor inquiries when needed.
Assistingwith bank reconciliations and general ledger postings.
Providing data reports or documentation for internal stakeholders auditors and leadership.
Participating in process improvement initiatives to streamline financial workflows.
Supporting system enhancements testing or implementation of new finance tools.
What You Bring
Some knowledge and/or experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g.SAP OracleXeroor similar).
Strongproficiencyin Excel and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
Understandingofaccounting principles (AR/AP/GL).
Experience in a consumer goods retail or distribution environment is desirable but not.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strongorganisationaland timemanagement skills.
Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and external customers.
Proactive problemsolver with the ability to work in fastpaced and lean environments.
Collaborative mindset with flexibility to support broader Finance tasks
