Accounts Payable Officer 18 Month Contract

Your opportunity
The Accounts Payable Officer works within our Finance team and will be responsible for the daily participation of the operations that encompass the Accounts Payable team.
In this role you will ensure the accurate timely and compliant processing of supplier invoices and payments that keep Scentre Groups shopping centre operations running smoothly. Its a role that blends attention to detail strong financial controls and a commitment to supporting our centres our suppliers and our internal teams with a reliable AP service.
Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and on time ensuring all required documentation coding and approvals are in place.
- Assisting in managing the end-to-end AP cycle including invoice validation payment runs reconciliations and exception handling.
- Responding to and resolving supplier and internal stakeholder queries promptly to maintain strong working relationships.
- Monitoring invoice workflows and addressing bottlenecks to support smooth operational and financial processes.
- Ensuring compliance with financial controls policies and audit requirements across all AP activities.
This role is an 18-month fixed term contract.

Were looking for someone proactive confident and detailfocused who enjoys working as part of a team.
- At least 5 years experience within a fast-paced AP environment.
- Familiarity with JDE or Converga or similar systems is desirable
- Proactive in identifying and resolving issues efficiently
- Communicates clearly and professionally with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support smooth AP operations.
- Detail focused and committed to maintaining accurate financial records documentation and processes.
