Accounting & Reporting Accountant ANZ (Based in Wacol Brisbane)
About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to join our Business Process team as Accounting & Reporting (A&R) Accountant ANZ.
This role reports to the A&R Manager APeC based in Wacol Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting tasks and manage month-end activities
- Ownership of the daily accounting activities and ensuring data integrity to enable accurate reporting
- Process analyse and reconcile financial information
- Complete investigation commentary and explanations on income and expense variations
- Assist in completion of monthly and end-of-year financial accounting reporting requirements meeting strict deadlines
- Provide assistance with budgeting processes
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
- Actively involved in Risk Controls Management
- Closely cooperate with the business departments of multiple companies within the region provide financial professional support
- Liaise with external tax consultants on monthly quarterly and annual tax filing.
- Internal Audit and Compliance: Cooperate with the companys internal audit work
- Partner closely with APAC GSS team in Shanghai on routine transactions
- Other adhoc reports / analysis as requested
About You
- Degree in accounting or equivalentan Assistprovidingreports/analysisad hoc
- 3 - 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity
- SAP experience is an added advantage
- Good in Excel and preferably with an interest in Power BI AI-related tools
