About the Role
This is a great opportunity for an early-career Accountant to join our Wellness Finance team supporting Life Ready physiotherapy clinics. Reporting to the Financial Accountant youll play a hands-on role in delivering accurate financial reporting maintaining compliance and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This role suits someone who enjoys working across multiple entities improving processes and contributing to a fast-moving and evolving environment.
In this role you will:
Deliver day-to-day and month-end financial accounting activities including journal processing
Complete accurate and timely bank and balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities
Oversee accounts payable processes ensuring invoices GST treatment and payments are managed correctly
Maintain and monitor general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
Support tax compliance activities including payroll tax BAS/IAS and FBT preparation
Assist with audit requirements and contribute to process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function
This is a full-time position based in Perth on a 6-month fixed-term basis.
About You
Youre a motivated and detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys both working independently and being part of a collaborative team. With foundational experience in financial accounting youre looking to build on your technical skills while contributing to a growing business. Youre adaptable proactive and comfortable managing competing priorities in a changing environment.
Ideally you will have:
Progress towards (or willingness to undertake) a CA or CPA qualification
Previous experience in financial accounting ideally within a small to medium organisation
Working knowledge of financial reporting general ledger management and reconciliations
Exposure to tax requirements such as payroll tax BAS/IAS or similar compliance activities
Strong organisational problem-solving and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a collaborative and proactive approach
