Role Overview
As an Account Manager you will be the face of the business within your territory taking ownership of key customer relationships and driving long-term commercial growth. Working across a defined region youll manage the full customer lifecycle from relationship development and account planning through to growth retention and identifying new opportunities.
This is not a maintenance role. Youll be accountable for the sales and margin performance of your territory proactively uncovering opportunities executing strategic account plans and collaborating with internal specialists to deliver tailored industrial solutions that create genuine value for customers. With significant growth potential already within the territory this is an opportunity for someone who wants to build influence and make a measurable commercial impact from day one.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth across your territory by building strong customer relationships and identifying new commercial opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow existing customers and increase share of wallet.
- Build trusted partnerships with key decision-makers and become the go-to advisor for your customers.
- Proactively identify customer challenges and deliver tailored industrial solutions that create value.
- Retain and grow key accounts by anticipating customer needs and providing exceptional service.
- Generate new business opportunities and maintain a healthy sustainable sales pipeline.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years experience in industrial mining or technical B2B sales with a proven track record of developing new business and growing existing customer accounts.
- Strong mechanical aptitude gained through experience selling or working with industrial equipment engineered products or mechanical systems.
- Commercially driven and relationship-focused with the ability to engage technical and operational stakeholders manage a regional territory autonomously and identify opportunities for long-term account growth.
