2027 Graduate Electrical Engineer

Working as part of a dynamic Tier 1 consulting environment you will have the opportunity to contribute to a range of large multidisciplinary projects within the Mining Industrial and Transport sectors.

Supported by experienced engineers industry experts and a global network of technical specialists you will develop your technical professional and project delivery skills while gaining exposure to all project phases from feasibility studies and concept design through to detailed engineering and project execution.

How youll make a difference:

• Support the delivery of electrical engineering projects across the mining industrial and heavy industry sectors contributing to high-quality design solutions from concept through to commissioning.
• Assist with the preparation of technical reports calculations specifications drawings and other project documentation under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical civil structural and process engineers to coordinate project deliverables and achieve successful outcomes.
• Apply engineering principles relevant standards and industry best practices to develop safe practical and sustainable solutions.
• Assist with site visits inspections testing and commissioning activities as required.
• Contribute to project planning and coordination activities supporting the delivery of work to agreed timelines quality standards and budgets.

• Graduate Attributes: Were seeking graduates with strong communication and teamwork skills a proactive and adaptable mindset and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
• Bachelors Degree: You must be in your final year or completed a Bachelors or Postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering.
• A genuine interest in living and working in Townsville and building a long-term career in North Queensland.
• Graduate Year: You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.
• Commencement: You must be able to commence work by February 2027. We are open to mid-year finishers who are able to commence by July 2027.
• Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. We do accept candidates with student and graduate visas.
