Your Role
As a Project Engineer Cables youll support the Cables Project Managers in the planning implementation and ongoing management of the cable package. Youll help coordinate project activities manage stakeholders and risks and support delivery against scope budget quality and timelines while ensuring safety environmental sustainability and governance commitments are met.
Youll:
- Support the Cables Project Managers with the planning implementation and ongoing management of the cable package ensuring alignment with the cable package strategy and overall Project Execution strategy.
- Assist with project plans schedules risk registers contractor management and document reviews across the cable delivery lifecycle.
- Coordinate allocated cross-functional projects that improve existing processes and procedures supporting ongoing efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Assist with technical submittals RFIs and change order documentation.
- Collaborate with procurement finance legal and engineering teams and integrate with other project workstreams to mitigate risks to time cost and quality.
- Facilitate stakeholder collaboration and support the Cables Project Manager to resolve project challenges efficiently and effectively.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis of project activities and performance against scope budget quality and timeline to support data-driven decision making.
- Maintain document control practices and ensure compliance with governance quality and regulatory requirements.
- Champion Marinus Links health and safety system and promote a safe and healthy workplace.

Youll Need
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering Project Management or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of power infrastructure projects.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a practical solution-oriented approach.
- Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build collaborative working relationships.
- An understanding of construction safety protocols and risk management.
- The ability to work autonomously while managing multiple competing priorities.
- Strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment.
- A result-oriented adaptable and collaborative approach with the ability to drive momentum across all levels of a project.
- Demonstrated alignment with the behaviours and values of the One Marinus Culture Charter.
- A high level of computer literacy and the ability to work effectively with project management reporting and document control tools.
