Required Administrative Operations Officer (Payroll)

- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a multi-location workforce ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all pay cycles.
- Verify employee data timekeeping records and leave balances to ensure correct payroll calculations.
- Calculate and process salaries bonuses overtime deductions and statutory contributions in compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations.
- Maintain and update payroll systems (e.g. ADP Workday SAP) with accurate employee and compensation data.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports (e.g. tax filings social security PF/ESI) to government authorities on time.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies employee inquiries and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with HR Finance and Benefits teams to support onboarding offboarding and compensation changes.
- Ensure data privacy and confidentiality of sensitive employee information in line with GDPR and other compliance standards.
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure payroll integrity and identify areas for process improvement.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws tax regulations and payroll best practices within the IT Services industry.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Finance Accounting or a related field.
- 510 years of proven experience in payroll administration or operations within the IT Services or professional services sector.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g. ADP Workday SAP Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP pivot tables macros).
- In-depth knowledge of local and international payroll regulations tax laws and statutory compliance.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees managers and external agencies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with benefits administration deductions and leave management systems.
- Familiarity with ISO SOX or other compliance frameworks is a plus.
- Must be self-driven proactive and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- This role may require occasional overtime during peak payroll cycles or year-end reporting periods.
- Remote or hybrid work options may be available based on location and business needs.
