I have over 7 years experience programming using SAS, starting out in Credit Risk building statistical models for a large bank, where I moved on to building statistical models for the marketing department at the same bank, which leads me to my current job as a SAS data engineer for an insurance company.
My current role involves extracting, transforming and loading data in across a wide range of data sources so that teams across the business can use the data. I build SAS programs to bring in data from APIs, JSON files, csv's, SQL databases etc..

I am currently on a project at work, where I am in close contact with SnowFlake and Azure, where we are moving our Azure storage from gen1 to gen2.

My coding ability in SAS is very strong. On a daily basis I am building macros, hash tables, taking on legacy code. I work with very large datasets, so I have very efficient coding skills within SAS and know the best practises.

I passed my SAS base certificate a few years ago.

I have some experience in other languages. SQL, Python, Java, C#, and I am always willing to learn more.
