Role: ETL / Power BI/ Report Developer

Responsibilities
• ETL/Power BI/ Report Developer in the migration and report development for Retail Banking SBU of legacy branches of HSBC.
• Collaborated with Business Analyst and other key stakeholders in requirement gathering.
• Produced Source to Target Mapping document based on Business transformation rules and requirements.
• Analyzed, designed, implemented and deployed dependent data marts across multiple business areas using SSAS (Tabular Model and Multi-dimensional Model) based on business requirements.
• Wrote SQL and DAX queries to extract data from different source systems (SQL Server, MS Excel, CSV files, Salesforce and Oracle) in line with source-to-target mapping.
• Wrote optimized T-SQL queries to load transformed data to target systems (from OLTP to Staging Area, ODS, EDW, Databases, Data Marts and Report Servers).
• Performed data munging and profiling, in line with business requirements.
• Used SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to create Connection Packages, Packages for the constituent dimensions, and used different Containers to migrate data from source to target (OLTP-Staging-EDW-SSISDB Catalog).
• Ensured conformity of data being transformed and loaded meet the minimum accuracy and reliability standards in line with data governance.
• Supported and maintained the ETL process, resolving issues and debugging.
