I am an AI and Machine Learning Engineer based in Amman, Jordan. I studied Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence at Middle East University (BS, 2024–2026), after an HND in Artificial Intelligence from Luminus Technical University College (ASAC). I enjoy building AI systems that solve real problems and work well in real use.
During my internship on the AI team at Unlimited Innovation, I rebuilt the pipeline that classifies the sensitivity of database columns for Data Beacon, a data-governance project. I replaced a slow zero-shot model with a fine-tuned SetFit (MiniLM) model and a TF-IDF + linear SVM model. Processing time for 75,000 columns dropped from 40 hours to 15 minutes, about 160 times faster. The new pipeline predicts both the data category (7 classes) and the access level (6 levels), and it reached 85% category accuracy and 76% access-level accuracy on 370 hand-written test columns. I also benchmarked 11 embedding models for accuracy and speed, and I worked with FastAPI, PostgreSQL and Docker in a production team.
I also enjoy building AI for Arabic speakers and students. In a team of three, I helped build VoicePay, a voice-controlled Arabic banking assistant with voice authentication, a five-stage speech and NLP pipeline, FastAPI and Flutter. We entered it in the 5th edition of the Crown Prince Award for Best Government Service Application. I also built CareerCompass, a platform that maps transcripts and syllabi to student skills and finds gaps against hiring demand, using 2,238 job postings across 9 career paths, ESCO-based matching and LLM validation.
My main tools are Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, Transformers, spaCy and OpenCV, plus SQL, Git, Docker and Linux. I am a native Arabic speaker with professional working English. I keep learning, and I am looking for a role where I can build useful AI products with a strong team and make a positive impact.
