Scouting of new technologies in the field of renewable and bio-based materials and decarbonization (e.g. bio-monomers, P-to-X, CCU).
Developing new strategies in the frame of Net Zero Accelerator senior project at BASF
Deep contact with different business units to secure an entry point for renewable raw materials in the BASF downstream value chain and to support sustainability initiatives
Build business cases that show the potential of renewable feedstocks utilization and allow implementation scenarios at BASF
Contact technology providers and develop different business models including JDA, acquisition or licensing
Run techno economic analysis and cost bench-marking of conventional and new technologies for chemicals
Estimate PCF and CO2 abatement effort for different scenarios

Scouting new markets and emerging technologies in the field of PtX, bio-based chemicals, biofuels and sustainable feed-stocks and looking for partners in academia and industry
Supervising and executing R&D projects in the field of bio- renewables and alternative feed-stocks
Technical marketing in bio-refining, bio-based chemicals, HTE, heterogeneous catalysis and process optimization

Customer consultation, proposal preparation, and budget planning Daily contact with clients and prepare status updates, presentations, technical reports, and project reviews
HTE in catalyst synthesis and screening using multiple-fold reactors Process development in the field of chemicals and renewables Statistical analysis and data visualization
Practical experience in performing organic reactions in fixed and trickle bed systems and in continuous and batch reactors
Perform technical projects in the filed of process automation and emerging technologies

Representing Max-Planck Institute as the local project coordinator of cluster of excellence Tailor-made Fuels form Biomass (TMFB) at RWTH Aachen University
Designing and characterizing novel materials and heterogeneous catalysts,including metal supported catalysts and novel bi-functional materials for lignocellulosic biomass utilization
Supervision and supporting of PhD and master students and lab staff
Performing catalyst activity tests in open and closed systems
Investigating the valorization of biomass-derived intermediates into added value chemicals

Supporting the activities of cluster of excellence Tailor-made Fuels form Biomass (TMFB) at RWTH Aachen University
Working on the new biofules formulations for testing at the combustion center at RWTH Aachen University
Coordinating with other teams in engineering department to enable process integration and develop a bio-refinery concept
Supervising laboratory technicians during their education
