During my internship at TMCS, I worked in the domain of Industrial Automation, Instrumentation, and LabVIEW-based Measurement Systems, where I gained hands-on experience in system simulation, automated testing workflows, and tool optimization.I designed and implemented a sensor simulation system by developing a complete LVDT simulator in LabVIEW, involving mathematical modelling, normalization of displacement, real-time signal visualization, and validation of linear sensor behaviour. This strengthened my understanding of measurement systems, modelling accuracy, and simulation-based verification used in industrial environments.I also worked extensively on IC-level test preparation, where I generated pin-mapping files, waveform configuration files, and DAT files for large batches of integrated circuits by interpreting datasheets in detail. This task required strict adherence to timing characteristics, logic levels, and functional truth tables, closely mirroring real-world automated test and validation workflows. I performed systematic debugging and rework to correct configuration and logic mismatches, reinforcing the importance of precision and verification in quality-critical systems.Additionally, I enhanced an existing LabVIEW-based DAT file generation tool by implementing folder-level batch processing, automated file handling, and robust error management to prevent overwriting and reduce manual intervention. The optimized tool was packaged as a standalone application, significantly improving productivity and reliability for large-scale testing tasks.Alongside software development, I studied industrial signal isolation concepts and gained familiarity with practical isolator modules such as the Seneca Z109UI2-1, building a strong foundation in system protection, noise immunity, and measurement accuracy
