Smart-Expertise IA – AI-Powered Vehicle Insurance Claims Platform

<p>Designed and developed an AI-powered vehicle insurance claims platform to automate vehicle damage assessment and help detect potentially fraudulent claims. Built the web application using Nuxt.js, Laravel 10, PHP, MySQL, and REST APIs, with authentication and role-based access control. Integrated a FastAPI microservice using YOLOv8 for vehicle damage detection and image analysis. Implemented fraud detection mechanisms, including duplicate image detection, EXIF metadata analysis, geographical consistency checks, and comparison between declared and detected damage. Used Redis, Docker Compose, and Nginx to support application deployment and performance. Achieved 92% mAP@50 on the vehicle damage detection model, with image analysis completed in under 10 seconds.</p>
