<p>Designed and developed an automated AI-IoT device for the LACUNA project to acquire microscopic image datasets for seven waterborne bacterial species, integrating Raspberry Pi, microcontrollers, stepper motors, sensors, and imaging hardware, with custom mechanical design and 3D-printed components.</p><p> Developed a web-based control interface for automated incubation, environmental regulation, and image acquisition, supporting 1-, 2-, and 4-sample configurations and capturing more than 80 microscopic images per sample.</p><p> Developed and deployed an AI-enabled water quality monitoring system integrating 12-parameter physicochemical sensing, CNN-based E. coli detection, GSM connectivity, and MQTT/HTTP data transmission, with centralized dashboards and automated alerts.</p><p> Trained, evaluated, and optimized CNN, Transformer, and YOLO models for computer vision applications, deploying models on Raspberry Pi and NVIDIA Jetson Nano using quantization and pruning for resource-constrained environments.</p><p> Integrated sensors and embedded controllers, including PIC and STM32 microcontrollers, for real-time data acquisition and transformer asset monitoring.</p><p> Supported field deployment, system testing, troubleshooting, and training of local operations staff across multiple sites in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.</p>
