A very resourceful, versatile, result-driven individual with 2 years of comprehensive experience financial industry. With strong knowledge of KYC/Customer Due Diligence (both Retail and Corporate clients), Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR), Compliance procedures and AML Operational Risk processes having worked in similar capacity with financial institutions. I also have strong knowledge of KYC On-boarding, Renewal and Remediation processes, CDD review, as well as strong awareness of Sanctions Regime and Transaction Monitoring within Retail Banking and Commercial Banking. KYC/AML Analyst
Collating key information to carry out customer's risk assessment and Adverse Media Search
Performing AML investigations and quality control reviews to ensure completeness of KYC file
Conducting due diligence and enhanced due diligence on high-risk clients
Analysing ownership structure/layered entities classifying these entities under the relevant risk ratings
Performing detailed analysis/investigation of complex transactions and adverse media on clients to identify potential suspicious activity such as structuring and high-risk wire activity
Determining if documentation exceptions have been appropriately resolved and risk factors identified and addressed during the CDD and EDD processes
Regularly reviewing and screening clients to identify PEPs and their associates
Performing regular reviews of all client files to check for changes in static data and to update and confirm compliance with AML, due diligence, and the Bank’s Customer Identification Program
Analysing and determining the AML risk for high-risk products such as Trade Finance, Client Money Accounts, Deposit boxes etc.
Reviewing documentation for entities such as Corporations, Trusts, Private Holding Companies, Partnerships, and Individuals as per the policy in order to upload them in the system
Monitoring, updating, and screening systems for sanction lists and PEPs
Preparing reports and analysis to be presented to senior Management as part of the Due Diligence and KYC processes
Ensuring the KYC/AML record is completed in compliance with Bank policies and procedures
Using internal and external AML and research systems/databases to undertake additional research for CRA/AML purposes, as required
Engagement with Relationship Mangers (RM) whom will be liaising with their clients
