Translation Supervisor

Job Description

• Translate manifest, manual and material of products in B.TECH by reading or listening from English to Arabic & vice versa.
• Ascertain understanding of the meaning and context of that content and making sure to preserve the original meaning.
• Collaborate with content creation and product teams to ensure that language requirements are understood and supported, both from technical and linguistic perspectives.
• Use Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check quality of translation.
• Use specialist dictionaries of term base, thesauruses and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology and words used.
• Provide translation of different types of documents and ensuring that the final version of the translated text is grammatically correct and well-expressed.
• Proofread Arabic and English text in B.TECH online presence.
• Use translation memory software such as, memoQ, and SDL Trados, to ensure consistency of translation within documents and help efficiency.
• Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format as font and structure.
• Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy.

Job Requirements

• License’s degree in Literature
• 2-3 years of experience in translation
• Experience in English<>Arabic translation
