Tripadvisor advertising and partnerships solutions (TAPS) team is responsible for building a suite of products that serve advertisers and enable them to market their business on the Tripadvisor site. As a self-starting and results-driven engineer, you will collaborate with the team s Product Managers to bring key features to market.

As a Software Engineer I, you will develop features in support of our products across all layers of the stack under the guidance of more senior engineers. You will be responsible for designing relational databases, microservices, APIs, and interactive user interfaces. Through your work you will grow expertise in one or more technologies and share your learnings with your team. You will be responsible for testing the software you write and will maintain your features once released. As a Software Engineer I, you will strive to ensure that team standards and best practices are adhered to. You will actively seek feedback from your peers and promote a collaborative and fast-paced engineering culture.

What we re looking for

• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of web front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, React) and/or backend technologies (Java)
• Ability to query relational databases.
• Passion to build a great product that makes you proud
• Strong competencies in data structures and algorithms
• Willingness to learn on new technologies.
• Strong analytical skills and desire to write clean, correct and efficient code.
• High quality verbal and written communication skills.
