Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the company s daily social media across various platforms
- Responsible for monitoring all comments and direct messages
- Strong experience leading social strategy
- Practical experience in how to build social calendars
- Active social listener
- You understand the importance of engaging with various brands and influencers to build conversations and organic followers
- You have an eye for design and understand the importance of sticking to a branding guidelines
- You have an ability to work closely with copywriters as well as graphic designers on deliverables
- You keep up to date on the latest social media best practices and technologies
- You have a strong understanding of how to use FB, IG, TikTok, LinkedIn and Twitter
- You deliver best in class ways to bring storytelling to life
- You can deliver monthly and weekly reporting along with recommendations on how to grow following both through paid and organic marketing
Requirements
- 3 years + working as a social media marketing specialist or similar role
- Can prepare and pull monthly reporting
- Can provide feedback and suggestions on how to increase traffic based on reporting numbers
- Experience working with multiple brands simultaneously
- Proactive mindset and ability to plan, communicate, and deliver project plans accordingly
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and have sound business judgment in project prioritization
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Has the ability to jump in and hit the ground running.
- Has a particular strong aptitude to learning new programs quickly
Nice to Have s
- A background in cannabis or psychedelics
- Photography skills are an asset
- Has experience working in a start-up culture
