Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking Senior Registration Officer to join their team.
Supports the licensing, registration and analytics teams, and assists in a range of registration activities for the NSW Greyhound racing Industry. The role provides front-line customer service and administrative support as required, maintains timely and accurate records, and provides high-quality customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake front-of-house reception duties at the Commission head office ensuring a professional, customer-focused response to all visitors and telephone enquiries
- Act as the first point of access for member and client enquiries received via telephone or email, and provide routine information in an effective and responsive manner; efficiently refer extraordinary, complex and/or specialist enquiries to the appropriate staff as required
- Process documentation relating to a diverse range of greyhound racing licensing and registration transactions in a timely manner, that is consistent with legislation, relevant policies and procedures; request additional information from applicants as necessary
- Apply relevant legislation, policies and procedures to a diverse range of greyhound racing registration transactions
- Endorse and/or approve documentation in accordance with delegations; notify applicants of decisions within agreed service delivery timeframes; create full and accurate records, including decisions and actions taken, and ensure that records are managed appropriately
- Prepare correspondence, concise reports and submissions on the assessment of registration applications and related matters
- Maintain and prepare records and statistical data required to meet the reporting requirements of the Commission
- Contribute to the broader administration of the Commission including the development and continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices; participate in cross-unit cooperative work arrangements; and undertake other projects as required by the Manager Registration.
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated administrative experience in a customer service, regulatory or similar high volume work environment
- Employees of the Commission will be required to sign a conflict of interest form. You may be precluded from consideration for this role if you have been an industry participant, or have direct or close relationships with the industry and industry participants. An industry participant includes; persons licensed by GRNSW, members and employees of clubs, and any person involved in the promotion of the commercial objectives of GRNSW.
On offer is a 3 month contract at a highly sought after NSW Government organisation, with a highly competitive daily rate.
