Researcher-Hydrogen Production Degradations Mechanisms of the Electrolysers

HyLabs ultimate goal is to establish a globally recognized Research Development and Innovation (R&DI) cluster with a strategic agenda focused on enhancing hydrogen competitiveness and creating new products and services.

Additionally the HyLab will drive innovation by addressing the essential components of the supply chain necessary to facilitate a hydrogenbased economy and promote the creation of skilled and valueadded jobs.

Its primary objective is to bridge the gap between academia and industrial ecosystems in the implementation of green hydrogen thereby accelerating the energy transition and addressing the challenges associated with it throughout the entire hydrogen value chain.

The HyLab brings together esteemed national and international R&D institutes academic institutions industrial companies small and mediumsized enterprises (SMEs) startups and hydrogenrelated technology manufacturers.

We are looking for a Researcher who will report to the Research Line PMO and will be challenged with the mission to lead research in the area of Degradations Mechanisms of the Electrolysers and contribute to adjacent research areas.

You will be challenged with:

• Coordinate research of HyLab teams and projects in their area of expertise;
• Report to the Coordinator of the Research Line the Scientific Coordinator and Collaborate in the construction of the HyLab Scientific Agenda;
• Collaborate with the business area in identifying opportunities and preparing proposals and applications;
• Collaborate with the Board in the Report of research activities.

Who are we looking for:

• PhD in Engineering: Chemistry Electrotechnical Mechanical or similar.
• 3 years of research experience in one of the previously mention areas.
• Knowledge of electrochemistry with skills in numerical and experimental modeling of phenomena.
• Proficiency in at least one of following Python C MATLAB COMSOL OpenFOAM Ansys.
• English proficiency level C1.
