Manual Tester

Job description

As a Software Tester at NodeFlairs client your analytical and technical skills will directly contribute the quality of the software. Whether the testing is manual automated or cognitive you hold a key role in releasing the best deliverables to the customer. They Make It Work!

You are responsible for the following activities:

• Review and clarify Software requirement specification
• Design maintain and execute manual test cases.
• Report track and monitor defects in the defect tracking system.
• Work closely with the development team to design testing strategies.
• Analyze change requests and update test documents (Test plan test cases etc.).
• Address issues relating to testing quality.
• Communicate progress test results to Testlead.

Your skills and experience

• Background in IT/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related discipline
• For NonIT background at least 1 year of experience as a QC/Tester/similar roles
• Basic knowledge of testing methodology and testing tools
• Experience in designing test cases based on requirements.
• Ability to effectively manage time and individually prioritize multiple tasks of competing priority.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong passion for IT software and testing.

Nice to have :

Experience with Agile based testing approaches is a plus

Research/ experience with Automation testing is a plus.
