Job Description

Product Sourcing:

  • Monitor physical stock levels, compare with forecasted sales and instigate re-order processes subject to CEO sign-off
  • Cooperate with global third-party printers and negotiate competitive supply prices
  • Identify new global suppliers
  • Place orders for required stock.
  • Cooperate with team members on the financial implications of all such orders.

Customer Fulfillment:

  • Be the contact point for orders
  • Ensure all details are accurately captured and saved on Company Systems.
  • Network with B2B customers
  • Liaise with third-party warehouse providers and arrange for orders to be made ready for shipment
  • Ensure all Master Licensees requirements for digital products are correctly entered onto the appropriate portals.

Logistics:

  • Liaise with third-party warehouse management on all movements in and out of stock
  • Be part of the negotiating team (along with the CEO) for an extension of the contract.
  • Help source replacement providers should that become desirable/necessary;
  • Liaise with third-party hauliers and obtain best terms for movement in or out of stock as required.
  • Be ready to source additional hauliers if this is considered desirable/necessary by the Company;
  • Arrange for all documentation necessary to affect an international movement of goods including but not limited to the bill of lading.

Administration:

  • Arrange for annual / spot stock counts to be conducted.
  • Investigate any discrepancies between the Company’s estimated stock holding and an actual physical count.
  • Maintain the Company’s notional stock holdings by SKU.
  • Provide finance management with information helpful to stock valuation processes.
  • Anything else requested by line management.


Job Requirements

  • Must have an experience in the educational field
  • Skills and experience required
  • Excellent command of both English and Arabic languages (written and spoken).
  • Strong written communication / oral communication and presentation skills
  • Possess a first degree in a business-focused subject.
  • 3+ years' experience in buying print and related products
  • 3+ years’ experience in international customer fulfilment (ideally 2B).
  • Highly organised and adept at multi-tasking on a day-to-day basis with evidence of good project management.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Computer literate with a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Knowledge of CRM packages is a plus.
  • Interest in working in a franchise and/or international trade environment;
  • Appreciation of best practices in working with 3rd party suppliers (e.g. online translators and digital marketing agencies)
