- Provide support, troubleshooting and necessary maintenance of network and system devices including servers, switches, routers, and other relevant devices.
- Install and configure desktops, laptops, mobiles, printers, scanners and other IT hardware for end users in the mission.
- Configure or assist in the configuration of servers and active LAN components including wireless devices and other security appliances.
- Provide tier-1 helpdesk support to all end users within the mission and those located in remote sites.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and upgrade of operating systems, as well as end user applications and software.
- Provide support to IOM’s corporate applications such as MiMOSA and other in-house developed software.
- Implement virus detection using Webroot through proactive monitoring, removal and prevention.
- Maintain a periodic inventory of all IT equipment used within the mission and its remote sites; and
- Perform other related duties as required by his/her supervisor.
