We are seeking an Analyst to join the Capital Programs Division (CPD) in Capital Programs & Contracting Compliance Department within the Controllers Department. Controllers is a part of the Finance business line in the company and reports to the Sr. Vice President of Finance Strategy & Development.

The Capital Programs Division is responsible for providing controllership financial advisory and decision support for items related to Saudi Aramcos Capital Program and individual Expenditure Requests. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the project life from Business Plan through Post Project Appraisal. CPDs core activities include reviewing projects proposed for the Capital Budget to ensure validity of business case and compliance with Company policies. The review of projects proposed for funding to ensure validity of business case and compliance with Company policies. Participating in Companies gated project review process while performing analysis post project completion to ensure the project objectives were met and identify opportunities for improvement including lessons learned. And conducting special studies as and when required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • As the successful candidate you will hold a bachelors degree in business administration economics or engineering and a professional certification is desirable for example a CPA ACCA or a CFA. A graduate degree in business administration or a related field is desirable.
  • A minimum of ten years relevant experience is desirable in a variety of industries which may include experiences in financial analysis project evaluations project controls and process/change management or strategy/management consulting. In addition leadership skills and SAP or equivalent
  • ERP systems experiences are highly desirable.
  • Willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia
  • Australia or New Zealand native or currently living/working in Australia or New Zealand

Other relevant qualities and experiences to be considered include:

  • Significant experience within one or more industries which may allow you to be considered a subject matter expert in that industry.
  • Ability to establish personal credibility with various internal clients and demonstrated excellent interpersonal and engagement skills.
  • A team player able to work across business lines to add value and achieve team objectives.
  • An ability to plan and coordinate your own workload and meet deadlines.
  • You will be expected to demonstrate strategy corporate finance and accounting skills including the ability to evaluate industry and individual company information.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Possess demonstrated project management skills and ability to offer logical and innovative solutions to complex client issues.
  • A willingness to travel as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review analyze and provide comments on new projects proposed for inclusion in the Business Plan.
  • Review analyze and provide comments on capital projects proposed for funding actions.
  • Represent Controllers on various project gate reviews.
  • Represent Controllers review of capital projects prior to funding.
  • Review complex questions related to capital projects and prepare and present recommendations to Controllers management.
  • Provide policy and project funding guidance as required.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports as required.
  • Perform detailed analysis of post project performance and present to management.

Alternatively employees may obtain housing in the local communities outside of the Company communities for which we provide a rental assistance allowance.
  • Free medical care: We provide medical care via our Johns Hopkins medical network or contracted hospitals and clinics. These facilities are among the finest in the Middle East.
  • Free access to recreational facilities: You will have access to our extensive range of recreational facilities that include: private beaches tennis courts exercise gyms swimming pools golf courses tennis and squash courts and much more.
  • Free scheduled transportation: Airconditioned buses are provided free of charge for transportation within camp areas to work locations local shopping areas outside camp the beach and our other communities.
  • Voluntary Group Life and Accident Insurance: you may enrol in a voluntary program providing term life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage equal to 12 18 24 or 30 times your monthly base salary. Favourable group rates keep the premium low.
  • Shortterm Disability: In the event you are unable to work due to illness or injury shortterm disability income benefits are provided. The benefit is 30 days full pay and 60 days at threequarters pay in any one year period.
  • Death Benefit: Company pays an exgratia death benefit equal to 24 months base pay if death is from an industrial accident and 12 months base pay if death is nonindustrial related.
