We are looking for experienced and caring Preschool Lead Teachers to oversee our curriculum program. You will collaborate with our assistant teachers to prepare children for school academically and socially by using age-appropriate lesson plans, selecting effective developmental materials for the classroom, and utilizing positive behavior reinforcement. You must also provide parents with regular reports on their child's progress.

Preschool Lead Teacher Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum
• Support creativity and learning
• Provide supervision during activities
• Select age-appropriate developmental materials for the classroom
• Keep classroom neat and organized
• Provide parents with progress reports
• File incident reports as needed

Preschool Lead Teacher Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood development or education or current enrollment in a similar degree program preferred
• 12 ECE units to include CD 125, CD 131, infant & toddler, and any other CD curriculum class

• CDA credential a plus
• First aid and CPR certification
• Physical & TB Tests dated within the last year
• Immunization Record to include DTapp, Varicella, MMR
• Driver’s License
• Complete the National Background Check Program for California and any out-of-state background checks
