Embedded Linux Engineer

General Description:Research and develop Android TV products utilizing Android TV platforms and a variety of media services such as OTT Nvidia Shield Apple TV Netflix Amazon etc. Software engineers are engaged in developing platforms across nearly all software layers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Craft clean humanreadable code accompanied by unit tests.
• Develop and maintain highquality code in C/C for software source code.
• Deploy products to Android (Linux) hardware.
• Identify and rectify software bugs utilizing code coverity tools and testing devices.
• Establish and uphold software documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and thirdparty entities.
• Consistently strive to enhance software design and quality.

Job Requirements:Education:

• Hold a university degree or higher in Computer Science Electronics Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

Working Experience and Knowledge:

• Essential: Minimum of 2 years experience in software development using C/C.
• Essential: Understanding and experience in Embedded Android/Linux.
• Proficient understanding of ObjectOriented Programming (OOP) and Design Patterns.
• Handson experience with JIRA SVN GIT.
• Experience related to multithreading and multiprocess programming (IPC).
• Preferred: Knowledge of the Android Platform and related products.
• Preferred: Experience with SetTop Box (STB) products.
• Preferred: Experience in Media Services (OTT) Android TV Input Framework (TIF).
• Preferred: Experience in Open Source porting development and customization.

Supervision:

• Reporting to the Part Manager/Team Leader of the Automotive team at HUMAX VINA.
• May also involve supervision by Project Managers in Korea.
